Igbinosa Gabriel

He is a full stack developer with specialization in web app development, mobile app development and blockchain technology. He played a lead role in the development of “Indexportal Edu” Solution used by over 30 schools in Nigeria. He is a director both at IndexPortal Globe and Kolicoin LTD, a Tech Consultant, a Technovation Judge and a change agent.

After University it was clear that He needed more than just being a graduate to fulfill his programming dream. The Nigerian university curriculum-exposures seemed afterwards, inapplicable in the tech industry. He was employed as an Intern and had the opportunity of being mentored in unique ways that could be likened to “apprenticeship” in Programming. Within a year of direct mentorship, back in 2014 he was already coding excellently; playing key roles in developing sizeable projects. Within two-four years he and his partners had developed high ranking Enterprise Resource Planning Solutions and had deployed in several high profile organization across Nigeria, and later on, supporting state governments with education-development contents for junior and high schools.

There was no need for external motivations. He learnt firsthand from his transition-experience that people can become anything they dare to dream and work towards especially when they have access to those systems and resources that support their course.

Produce Africa Development and Entrepreneurial Initiative was conceived amidst such conditions to impact students across all educational institution and entrepreneurs at their early stages through mentorship, training, funding and other forms of support to set the path for new generation innovators and industry shapers in Africa.
