Promoting Leadership and Accountability

This award category was inspired by the outstanding works of young Nigerians making impacts all over the world and their profound influence on teenagers.

Three young and dynamic Nigerians with proven track record of excellence in related field and exemplary character are nominated for their contribution to Technology, Education, Engineering, Government, Medicine, Art or Social Development.

Teenagers and the Nigerian public shall determine their role model by votes.

One winner shall emerge and receive the title of ProduceAfrica Teen’s Idol 2022 during the ProduceAfrica Code Challenge ceremony at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel on December 10th 2022.

These individuals have been nominated for their outstanding contribution to the IT sector, using technology to drive innovation and the positive influence they have on teenagers in Nigeria.


David Oyebola


Manager, (Operations ) Microsoft Windows at Tek Experts and Co-Founder, EasyRide NG

David holds a Master's degree in Business Administration. He understands the Management and Operations of the Customer Support space from his years spent working at all levels of Customer Service Operations. He currently champions the success of a new project pilot at Tekexperts Nigeria (Microsoft), which is based on his successful 3 years of managing and ensuring the stability and expansion of the Consumer LOB from a headcount of over 80 Engineers to 360 plus Engineers, managing succession plans in-between as well as attrition.

In a bid to help himself, and over 400 folks solve commuting problem, he brought together a team of passionate professionals with over 4 years of experience in the transport and tech space that also face the same problem coupled with his vast knowledge and experience in startup, general operations, and business development management, they built EAZYRIDE.

EazyRide provides complete subscription-based commute system to solve the current problems of safety, convenience, stress, huge transport expenses amongst all other issues, leveraging on user's easy access to cars. Consumers and Businesses are handed the power to plan and schedule their commute needs with EazyRide.


Babs Ogundeyi


Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Kuda Bank

Babs is a Co-founder of Kuda Bank, Nigeria’s first full-service digital-only bank licensed by the Central Bank with a mission to make banking more accessible and affordable. He has strong expertise in the financial services sector, having previously spent years auditing and advising some of Africa’s biggest banks.


Fejiro Hanu Aigbodje


The Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Patricia Technologies Limited

Before he founded Patricia in 2017 Fejiro tried and failed at 13 businesses.

His company uses Blockchain technology to deliver simple and secure digital transactions around the world, employing over 300 people world wide.

He got the idea to start Patricia after he was scammed while trying to sell a gift card. In the midst of his experience he saw opportunities in legitimately offering such services.
