Produce Africa Development and Entrepreneurial Initiative (PADEI) is the tech and innovation nonprofit that promotes technology in Nigeria by leveraging on coding and artificial intelligence as a catalytic tool for software education and community empowerment, targeting students between age 9-18 with fun curriculum, code workshops, app exhibitions and awards.
Inspiring and engaging the next generation industries shapers through tested hand-on toolkits and dynamic curriculum which centers on science, technology, engineering and mathematics to boost their interest for innovation through the following: app development training, recognizing their little achievements and rewarding them for the sleepless nights, discipline and passion they put in to create solutions that solve problems around them.
Demystifying programming by showing teenagers and young adults through mentorship, app exhibitions, awards, cash reward and scholarship opportunities that coding is fun, highly rewarding and could offer them a real chance to make impacts in their communities.
Inspiring them to use simple technology at their disposal to create apps that solve a problem in their communities; encouraging and supporting them all the way until they become Pro(s).
Demystifying coding among teens is a goal we are mostly passionate about and committed to. Being part of their coding journey is an amazing experience.
Team Globic Girls of Global International College, Lekki, Lagos Nigeria, with no prior programming background were
mentored by Igbinosa Gabriel. Within six months of mentorship they created “Reportour”, an android application for the
public to report criminal activities in Lagos State to the right security operative. They applied for the Technovation
World Championship 2016 with their solution. It set them on a new path of leadership!
They will never forget the experience!
We believe they will change the world someday with our support today
